Issue:

During operation, two instances of excessive third-stage vibration and overheating in the final-stage inlet temperature occurred. After the unit was loaded, the vent valve failed to close.

On-site condition:

After the unit was loaded, the main motor current failed to reach the set current level required for the air vent valve to close. Additionally, the IGV drive ring's raceway bearing was damaged, and the compressor air passages became blocked.

Maintenance plan:

IGV repair, maintenance, and replacement of IGV drive ring track bearings; muffler replacement; replacement of third-stage bearings and diffusers; cooler cleaning; and rust removal from internal pipe surfaces and cooler walls.

Result:

The system was powered on for a trial run, and all operational data remained within normal ranges, confirming it’s safe to begin full-scale production.
