Issue:
Each blade on the near-inlet side of the first-stage impeller shows similar fatigue-induced, dark-colored cracks approximately 10 mm long.
On-site condition:
The impeller surface has subtle cracks and damage, the seal is compromised, while no other abnormalities were observed.
Maintenance plan:
Based on the actual condition of the unit and customer requirements, we will repair the impeller, replace the first-, second-, and third-stage carbon ring seals, and thoroughly clean and reinstall all related components.
Result:
1. The vibration values of the first, second and third stages are normal, all below 8 micrometers, which is in good condition. 2. The bearing temperature of each stage is less than 73°C, within the normal range. 3. The oil temperature is below 45°C, which
